Who is Ellsworth Palmer?

Ellsworth Palmer is the founder of Remlap Publishing, a neurodivergent advocacy and publishing company built directly from his own late ADHD diagnosis at approximately age 60.

Before that diagnosis, Ellsworth spent more than 30 years in federal IT and systems engineering, building complex systems for a living. The work itself was demanding and he delivered. But he also spent those decades learning to mask, learning to compensate, learning to quietly make things work in ways no one around him understood, because he did not understand them either. The struggle was not separate from the career. It ran alongside it, beneath it, through all of it.

What is the Parking Lot Moment?

The Parking Lot Moment is the founding story of Remlap Publishing.

I sat in my car after receiving my ADHD diagnosis and asked one question: What if I had known sooner? Not with bitterness. With wonder. A doctor suggested I begin to write down what I was feeling, so I did, and that was the beginning of what eventually turned into my first book, Empowering ADHD Help for Adults: Unlock Your Potential, then two more.

The Parking Lot Moment is not a marketing story. It is the exact point where 30 years of federal IT, a late diagnosis, and a lifetime of unexplained struggle converged into a single question that would not let go.

What does Remlap Publishing stand for?

Remlap Publishing exists to reach every adult who is sitting in their own version of that parking lot right now.

The brand promise is this: You are not broken. You never were. Our brains work differently. That difference was never explained to us, and for many of us it came with decades of shame we did not earn. Remlap Publishing exists to name that, challenge it, and replace it with something true.

Ellsworth Palmer, Founder of Remlap Publishing, Author, and Neurodivergent Advocate, built this company from the parking lot forward.

Take Care. God Bless. And Take Charge!
